Policies

Prescription Policy:
A prescription is required for any of the CPAP or BiLevel (BiPap) therapies. A prescription is also required for most supplies. Masks and headgear are "legend" items and are regulated by the State Department of Health Services in California. A physician must prescribe all legend items. Any items to be considered for re-imbursement through your insurance requires a prescription. Filters and tubing can be purchased without a prescription.

All prescriptions that we receive are verified based on the identification of the physician's UPIN number and license number. We will only accept prescriptions from a physician licensed to practice in the United States.

 

Return Policy:
We will accept returns on merchandise in the event that a manufacturing defect exists.

If the product that you purchased is defective, please contact us so we can identify the problem that you are having with the merchandise and if necessary provide you with a return authorization.

Do not attempt to return an item until you have contacted AirCare Home Medical for authorization to return the item.

We accept the return of unopened items and will credit the customer the purchase price minus a 20% restocking fee.

 

Shipping costs are not refundable.

We cannot accept returns on items that have been opened or used.

 

Warranty:

If your machine is under warranty, it will be repaired by the manufacturer and returned to AirCare where we will check the settings prior to returning the unit to you.

If your machine is not under warranty and you purchased it from AirCare Home Medical, we will contact the manufacturer and obtain a return authorization code for you and provide you with the information that you need on where to ship your product for repair.

 

A note about ResMed products:

All services from AirCare Home Medical are performed by us as a home care facility independent of ResMed.

ResMed Products are for sale in the United States only.
